It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francine Monroe of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wesley Monroe, Sr. and Josephine Coakley Monroe; her daughter Cynthia Y. Monroe; and her brothers, Samuel Monroe, Jr. and Nathaniel Monroe.
She is survived by: her son Derrick L. Monroe; her grandchildren, Andre Monroe and Shaniqua Monroe; her great grandchildren, Brenton Monroe, Andrenae Monroe, Nevaeh Monroe and Amir Monroe; and her sisters, Cynthia D. Monroe and Maxine Monroe-Fields. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
