She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Winckles; her parents, Joseph McCarten and Lily Bell; and her son Donald Winckles. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Charles Winckles (Stacy) of Ladson and Sharon Winckles Holden (Jim) of Summerville; her grandchildren, Devon Holden (Heather) and Victoria Stroble (Stevie); and her great grandchild Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Emily's name be made to the Donald and Emily Winckles Scholarship Fund, in care of the Trident Technical College Foundation, PO Box 61227, Charleston, SC 29419-1227.
