She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Mayer and Ann Mayer; her husband Joseph B. Grimsley; and her siblings, Barth Ludwig Mayer and Annie Epp.
She is survived by: her children, Reinhardt "Buck" Grimsley of Summerville, SC, Angela G. Lange of Summerville, SC, Judith K. Ervin of Summerville, SC and Barbara A. Grimsley of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, John Lange, Jr., Elizabeth Wilfinger, Laura Guthrie, Holly Lange and Valerie Walter; and her sister Inge. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Mrs. Grimsley's name be made to Stallsville UMC or a charity of your choice.
