Though Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Hoover and Victoria Hoover; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Hoover. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne E. Hoover (Cyndi) of Monks Corner, SC, J. Scott Hoover of Summerville, SC and Theresa Blackburn (Dwaine) of New Hope, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Edward to Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483.
