He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Smith; his children, Pamela Smith of Summerville, Lisa Caldwell of O'Fallon, Cynthia Wilson of Virginia Beach, Joseph Robertson of Carpentsville, Lawrence Roberts of Orlando and Sherri Roberts of Plymouth, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Patricia Perry of Summerville, Blake Caldwell (Alicia) of Belleville, Evan Caldwell of Pontoon Beach, Sarah Martin (Michael) of Chesapeake, Laurel Wilson of Virginia Beach, Jennifer Johnson (Tod) of Volo, Tom Robertson of Chicago and Kirby Roberts of Boston. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
