He was predeceased by: his parents, Curvin W. Turner and Mary Haselden Turner; and his siblings, C. W. Turner (Dot), Jo Ann Matthews (Dan) and Peggy Braddock (Bob).
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Ehlers (Henry) of Charleston, SC, Judith Whitt (John) of Summerville, SC and Donna Cantrell (Pete) of Greenville, SC; his sisters, Frances Thompson (Ronnie) of East Peoria, IL, Janie Turner of Springfield, IL and Geraldine Danielson of Fort Worth, TX; his granddaughters, Olivia, Paige Whitt and Ella Chilcote; his great grandchild Malakai; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Barbara Jo, Pam, Lynn, Bobby, Laura, David, Sharon, Jennifer, Stephanie and Tina.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miles Road Baptist Church (816 Miles Road 44022). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
