He was predeceased by: his parents, Avalona Clark and Holmes Westley Collins; his former wife Lottie Collins; his son Bobby J. Collins, Jr.; and his grandsons, Matthew Collins, Nathan Collins and Mark Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Seay Collins of Summerville, SC; his children, Del Collins (Linda) and Beth Hutchinson (Tim) of Moncks Corner, SC; and his daughter-in-law Lucielle Collins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
