With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Rutledge Dingle Jr. of Summerton, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rutledge Dingle and Frances Chandler Dingle of Summerton. He is survived by: his spouse Melony Morton Dingle; his children, William Dingle (Brittany), Julia Dingle Robinson (Greg) and Jayne Dingle; his grandchildren, William Dingle and Madeline Dingle; his in-laws, Jimmy and Julia Morton; and his sister Mary Fran Dingle. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
