It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Rene La Pointe of Summerton, South Carolina, born in Somerville, New Jersey, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene G. Pointe and Christine Salegna La Pointe; his daughter Lisa Paterno; and his siblings, Lucille Riley, Alice LeClair, Janet Hockin, Joan Foley and Richard La Pointe.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Anne Bolink (Matthew Bolink) of Branchburg, NJ and Rene La Pointe (Chip) of Warren, NJ; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Amethyst and Ashley.
