It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Wayne Wood (Summerton, South Carolina), born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson Wood, Sr. and Pauline Moore Wood; and his siblings, Patricia Haas, George Wood, Jr. and Michael "Mike" C. Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Dingle "Monk" Wood; his daughters, Cathy Marie Kelton (Kent) of Murfreesboro, TN, Paula Sun Buckley of Pensacola, FL, Lamonda Garrett of Summerton and Christina Elizabeth Garrett of Florence; his grandchildren, Maggie Buckley, Liam Buckley, McKenna Kelton, Dori and Jake Sweat; his brother Donald "Don" L. Wood (Darlene) of Wilson, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Wood of Aiken and Milt Haas of Alaska.
