We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2021, at the age of 88, James Willis Tompkins Jr. of Sullivans Island, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willis Tompkins, Sr. and Carmel Conklin Tompkins. He is survived by: his siblings, Marian Wilger (Ken) of Dallas, GA, Carmel Fentress (Tom) of North Augusta, SC and David Tompkins of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
