She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Cureton and Bernice Robinson Cureton; her husband Ralph Busch Smith; her son Ralph L. Smith; and her siblings, James H. Cureton of Easley, SC, John C. Cureton of Clemson, SC and Lydia S. Smith of Bennetsville, SC..
She is survived by: her son Ronald C. Smith (Kathy) of North Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Chad M Smith (Jessica) of Lexington, SC and Weslyn J. Smith of Sullivan's Island, SC; her great grandchild Morgan K Smith of Lexington, SC.; her brothers, Alfred R Cureton (Beverly) of Moore, SC and Robert H Cureton of Greenwood, SC; her daughter-in-law Deverett Smith of Summerville, SC; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Smith of Clemson, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
