It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Samuel Blume of Starr, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Blume and Gertrude Blume Fisher; his former wife Elsie Miller Blume; his children, Rebecca, Wade Steven, Dale and Gale; and his siblings, Roy Blume, Harold Blume, Lucille Scott and Emma Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Ann Blume; his children, Shirley Nilsen (Stewart), Marilyn Bull (Jim), Gary Blume (Morgan) and Roger Blume (Stacy); his adoptive son Niki Parks (Cynthia); his stepsons, Larry (Shirley), Wayne and Ronald Allen; and his half-sister Patsy Heaton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
