He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Fant and Betty Jean Gilliard; his brothers, Wayne, Marvin and Willie Gilliard; and his grandparents, Bessie Mae Roebuck, Jake Johnson, Maggie and Leroy Gilliard.
He is survived by: his siblings, Warren, Terry Gilliard (Gwen), Derby Gilliard, Carolyn Patterson (Steve) and Stephanie Howard. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
