It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Hanks of Starr, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Larry Reece Hanks; and his grandparents, James Chalmer, Inez Lena Tucker, Alexander "Buck" Hanks and Merrie Barkley Breazle.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Tucker Hanks; his siblings, Kenneth, Mark, Russell, Jeffrey Hanks and Deborah Hanks Latham (Leonard); and his pet Piper. He is also survived by his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, two great nephews, many close friends.
