She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hamilton "Hal" and Verna Summer Kohn; her spouse Martyn J. Cavanaugh; her stepson Michael J. Cavanaugh; and her brother Hal Kohn (Mary Kohn Hicks) of Columbia, SC.
She is survived by: her stepson Jeff (Elaine Cavanaugh) of Chesapeake Virginia; and her stepdaughter-in-law Jeanne U. Cavanaugh. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cavanaugh Residence (2119 Cherry Laurel Dr, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lutheran Church (1515 Boundary St, Newberry, SC 29108).
