She was predeceased by: her daughter Amy Carol Hutson; and her parents, Leila Marie Rawls Hood and Robert Corbett. She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Norman Whittington, Jr.; her children, James Gary Hutson (Reneé), Christie Sweat (Brad), Kim Carper (Robert), Shannon Riston, Tracy Longerbeam (Jay) and Tricia Whittington (Jeff); her grandchildren, Marissa Lynn (Rob), Kaitlin Hutson (Dalton Mundy), Ian Quattlebaum (Taylor Lucas), Joel Quattlebaum, Jase Quattlebaum, Robbie Carper, Taylor Carper, Ben Riston, Jacob Longerbeam, Chloe Longerbeam, Evie Deeds and Egan Deeds; her great grandchild Noelle Grace "Gracie" Lynn; her sister Jeanette Shumpert (James); and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Whittington, Sandy Dobson and Fred Whittington (Iva Lou).
