With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Barr of Springfield, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Carroll Barr and Ruby Caughman Barr; his grandson Logan Tyler Barr; and his brothers, O'Neal Barr (Ray), Allen "Tom" Barr (Betty) and Clyde Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Abbott Barr; his children, Janice Brown (Marion), Rodney Barr, Sr. (Joy) of Springfield and Kent Barr (Dawn) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Justin Brown (Hanna), Trent Brown (Rachel), Dakota Brown (Caitlin), Rodney Barr, Jr. (Julia), Allyson Barr (Terry Roberts), Mason Barr (Ashlie Headden) and Kelci Bernasconi (Chad); and his great grandchildren, Skylar Brown of Dakota, Brown, Jr., James Barr, Summer Roberts, Cole Roberts and Bryson Barr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
