It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Harrington Norkett Jr. (Spartanburg, South Carolina), who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though William Harrington may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Harrington touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harrington Norkett, Sr. and Ada Edwards Norkett; and his former wife Judy Norkett. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Norkett; his stepsons, Steven Thompson and Joseph Thompson; his daughter Christy Norkett; his grandson Anthony; his son Michael Norkett; and his sister Glenda Willams.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Spartanburg Police Club (765 Police Club Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
