He was predeceased by: his parents, G. R. Ratliff and Blanche Ratliff; and his siblings, Bill Ratliff, Lola Mae Zimmerman, Gay McBride, June Phillips and Agnus Barnette.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Ratliff; and his children, Rocky Ratliff Jr. (Marielon), John Davis Ratliff Sr. (Trish) and Beth Ratliff Fenner (Ron). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
