We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2023, at the age of 93, Walter Montgomery Jr. of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Bailey Cornelson and Walter Scott Montgomery, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Brooks James; his sons, Edward (Lillian Montgomery Lilly), Scott (Laura Montgomery), Will (Brelan Montgomery) and John (Belle Montgomery); his grandchildren, Ward, James, Collier and David Lilly; his children, Jane, Walter, Henry Montgomery, William, Sam, Herschell Montgomery, Gibbes, Lucille, Phoebe and Worth Montgomery; and his sister Rose Montgomery Johnston.
