He is survived by: his spouse Laverne Williams; his daughters, Tylisha McJimpsey Lyles and Ashley A. McJimpsey; his stepdaughter Laverne Johnson; his grandchildren, Quenton Lyles, Bryson Lyles, Jarrell Butler, Jamiyah Butler, Amari Bland and RJ Bland; his stepgrandchildren, Marlon Brown, Zoey Edwards and DeAndre Jones; and his siblings, Joan McJimpsey Coan, Talmadge C. McJimpsey Downs, Brenda L. McJimpsey Humpries, Isaac V. McJimpsey Sr., Rev. Arnold E. McJimpsey Sr., Eloise Teresa McJimpsey Wray and Robert C. McJimpsey.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel (594 Howard St, Spartanburg, SC 29303). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Worship (504 N Church St, Spartanburg, SC 29303).
