He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Thomas Byars Wilkes, Sr. and Lura Nell Babb Wilkes. He is survived by: his wife Molly Mallory; his sister Carolyn; his children, Pam (Todd) of Greenville, SC, Tommy (Meg) and Angie (Rob); his grandchildren, Sidney Attaway, Ashley Garrison (Zach), Luke Wilkes (Vanessa), Sofia Wilkes, Alston Gage (Mary Alice), Noah Attaway, Stephen Gage, Lydia Wilkes, Laura Gage, Hannah Grace Attaway and Mary Liz Gage; and his great grandchild Evy Joy Gage.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (233 N Church St, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Tom may be made to Central United Methodist Church or a charity of your choosing.
