She is survived by: her spouse Lonzo Shands; her daughter England; her godchildren, Leslie Jones, Larissa Smith and Nicholas Yerger; her friends, Greg Miley, Candy Layman-Ford, Tameka Jones Salley, Crystal Denise Creel, Jenna Rebekah Creel and Adaviyan "JoJo" Dawkins; her daughters, Vonda Shands and Roxanne Shands Bossie; her sisters, Ruby Bertha Gist, Roberta Jones (Les) and Frances De Lois Gist; and her grandchildren, Anarys Dawn Bossie, Willie Bossie III, Alonzo Harris Bossie, Anabel Lucretia Craft, Anthony Alberta Jayden Shands, Lyric Charm Alexander, Diana Hazel Joy McNealy and Sebastian Blue Alexander.
