We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ruby Bishop of Spartanburg, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Hamlet and Lydia Thompson Murph; her husband Boyce "Pee Dab" Bishop; her son Eddie Bishop; her son-in-law Dale Hoover; and her siblings, Alice Johnson, Cecilia Johnson, Marie Zimmerman, Lois Burney, Jeannette Robinson and Bob Murph.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda B. Hoover; her daughter-in-law Betty Jo Stokes; her grandchildren, Pamela Hoover and Dr. Preston Bishop (Pamela); her great grandchildren, Bryson Bishop (Peyton) and Heather Porter; and her sister Elizabeth Gowan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel (2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
