He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Blanton and Verna Mae Clary Blanton; and his brothers, Max Blanton and Dean Blanton. He is survived by: his sons, Jason O'Neil Blanton of Spartanburg and Seth Clary Blanton of Spartanburg; his sisters, Ivos Hall of Charlotte, NC, Madeline Kennedy of Spartanburg and Carol Snyder of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Tayla Blanton, Morgan Blanton, Dylan Blanton and Layla Pettit. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
