He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Hamler and Willie Fleming Hamler; and his granddaughter Amber Hamler. He is survived by: his wife Rumaine Hamler; his children, Robert Hamler Jr. (Angela) of Spartanburg, SC, Sharon Hall McBeth (Byron) of Spartanburg, SC and David Putman of Spartanburg, SC; and his sisters, Shirley Wofford (Jasper) of Moore, SC and Candace Jackson of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; other loving relatives; and dear friends.
