She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Donald C. Abele; and her parents, Harry Rawson Ball and Elsie Anderson Ball. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Karen Abele DeVore (Bill), Matthew Karl Abele (Sue), Kenneth Gregory Abele (Sally) and John Benjamin Abele (Jenna); her siblings, Sylvia Ball Hampton and Norman Ball (Drusilla); and her grandchildren, Amy, Ashley, Andrew, Ansley, Carlisle, Mary Katherine, Emma, Ben, Frances, Lennon and Hogan. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bobo Funeral Chapel (1860 Cannons Campground Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
