He was predeceased by: his parents, Julianne Sackett and Solon Douglas Scruggs; and his brother Douglas Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Phillips Scruggs; his daughter Sarah Elisabeth Scruggs; his sisters, Jan Eller (Steve) of Marble, NC and Logan Wyatt (Zack); and his close friend Bobby Allen.
