She is survived by: her son Carroll Sanford "Sandy" Whisnant (Sue S.); her grandson Greg Whisnant, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; her daughter-in-law Betsy Ann Whisnant; and her stepgrandchildren, Mary Darwin of Clearwater, FL and Chris Darwin of Oregon.
