He was predeceased by: his father John F. O'Brien, Jr.; his brother Ricky O'Brien; his nephew Jeremey Hastings; and his brother-in-law Jim Cannon. He is survived by: his mother Peggy O'Brien; and his siblings, Kathy Hendricks (Fred), Mo Bujak (Joe), Colleen O'Brien (Jim Cannon), Eisey Stanton (Dennis), Laureen O'Brien (Ed Fus) and John O'Brien (Andy Healy).
