He was predeceased by: his father Dan Charles Ellis; and his grandson Daniel Michael Vaughan. He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Caldwell Ellis of Spartanburg; his daughters, Hollie Ellis Vaughan (Thomas) of Hermiston, Melissa Porter of Benton City and Leigh Roxanne Solesbee (Jonathan) of Boiling Springs; and his sister Jane Parker of Spartanburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
