It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Garrett Sellars of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Howard and Ella Parris Garrett; and her siblings, Julia Garrett, Louise Harris, Ellaree Miller and Jesse Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Barnette; her son-in-law Larry; her daughter Reeda Proffitt; her grandchildren, Brendall Mathis (Michelle) and Hannah Trail (Preston); and her great grandchildren, Kylie, Aubrey Mathis and Sullivan Trail.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel (4161 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
