She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Bryant and Nettie Louise Orr Bryant; her former husband Jerry Raines; her daughter Brenda Kay McKelvey; and her siblings, Dale Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Jerry Bryant, Melvin W. Bryant, Jr., Nancy Bryant Gibson, Carolyn Bryant Walker, Geneva Bryant Smith and Gloria Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Cletus "Cliff" McKelvey; her children, Phyllis Collins (Charles) and Jerry McKelvey (Barbara) of Boiling Springs; her grandchildren, Amanda Keller-Mills (David), Michelle Starnes (Allen), Phillip McKelvey (Nickie), Ashley Kirby (Dustin) and C. J. McKelvey; and her brother Rev. Ted Bryant. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Church (821 Whitlock St, Spartanburg, SC 29301).
