We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2024, at the age of 78, Lawrence Swinton of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Swinton and Margaret Broahun Swinton; his stepmother Ada Swinton; his son-in-law Victor Wells; and his stepson Bryan Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Deaton Swinton; his daughters, Kimberly Wells of Mooers, NY, Heather Swinton of Plant City, FL and Rebecca Fredette (Matthew) of Rouses Point, NY; his stepsons, Bobby Phillips (Kendra) of Spartanburg and Bruce Phillips of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Emma Fredette, Benjamin Fredette, Carter Fredette and Madelyn Fredette; and his stepgrandchildren, Misty Phillips, Christy Hames, Shane Phillips, Michael Garrett, Kelly Phillips and Ashley Scruggs.
