She is survived by: her husband McKelvie Garvin of Spartanburg; her siblings, Otis Dye of Spartanburg, Margaret Kelly of Spartanburg and Christine Oglesby of Woodruff; her stepchildren, Bernice Cunningham (Nathan), Ruth Davis (Joey) and Mendes Garvin (Michele); and her aunts, Frances Dye of Spartanburg, Phenie Golatt (Moses) of Richmond, Virginia, Geraldine Dye and Eula Garvin Riley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
