With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnnie Margaret Carson of Spartanburg, South Carolina, born in Canton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harbin and Arvilla Harbin; and her siblings, Mary Smith (Gene), Richard Harbin (Kay) and Jack Harbin (Kay).
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Adams; her sister-in-law Pat Carson; her nieces and nephews, Richard Smith and Leigh Ann Thomas (David); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Smith (Isabel), Samantha Smith, Brandy Cuesta (Pat) and Justin Cantrell (Bari).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home (690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376-2517).
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, an organization that was close to Johnnie's heart.
