John Samuel Coakley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Samuel Coakley (Spartanburg, South Carolina), who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Coakley and John Coakley; and his wife Susan. He is survived by: his children, John Parrish Coakley, Mary Claire Tillotson (Joe) and Andrew Christian Coakley (Kate); his grandchildren, Sam, Grayson, August, Solomon and Belle; and his daughter Bonnie Williams (Wayne).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel (2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
