With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Alyce Shook (Spartanburg, South Carolina), who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jo Alyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo Alyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clyde Crain and Selma Greene Crain; her husband Mitch Shook; and her sister Judy Walker. She is survived by: her children, Lacy White (James) of Spartanburg and Luther Shook II (Jan) of Spartanburg; and her grandchildren, Claire White, Wyatt Shook and Trey Shook. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
