Iris W. Valley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iris W. Valley (Spartanburg, South Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Carl Whisnant and Donald Valley; and her siblings, Judy James and Hal Hughey. She is survived by: her daughter Beverly J. Henderson (Mike) of Spartanburg; her siblings, Max Hughey of Rutherfordton, NC and Becky Doggett of Spindell, NC.; and her stepchildren, Deena Spradlin (Ronnie Wilson) of Boiling Springs, Ingrid Phillips (Dwight) of Arden, NC and Gentry Valley (Christine) of Canton, MI. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
