He was predeceased by: his grandson Brent Caldwell; and his siblings, Ila Howell, Lois McGraw and Elbert Poole. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ezelle Donald Poole; his children, Joyce Poole Godfrey (Sam) of Moore, SC and Keith Poole (Renee) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Mandy C. and Dr. Tan Ehlich of Chesnee, SC; his great grandchildren, Owen and Griffin; his grandchildren, Amy Lea and David Jones of Woodruff, SC; his great grandchildren, Olivia Grayce of Spartanburg, SC., Harrison of Spartanburg, SC. and Hamilton of Spartanburg, SC.; and his grandchildren, Allison Poole (Stephen) of Spartanburg, SC. and Matt Poole (Haley) of Spartanburg, SC..
