He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella McKelvey (Satterfield) and Ed McKelvey; and his son Franklin Dean McKelvey. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy McClure (Robert) of Inman, SC and Angela Dowdle (John Wayne) of Inman, SC; his siblings, Evelene Koon of Spartanburg, SC, Ruby Taylor (Eddie) of Sanford, NC and Eugene McKelvey (Caroline) of Inman, SC; his grandchildren, Kristen Campbell (Travis) and Trey McClure (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Kaylee, Colton and Konner.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Inman Mills Baptist Church (22 B St, Inman, SC 29349).
