He is survived by: his wife Susan Hayes Steadings; his children, Tina Poteat and Dennis Lovingood Jr.; his grandchildren, Krista Cappella, Kayla Lovingood, Alexis Branham and Kelsey Hyder; and his siblings, Johnny Steadings, Tim Steadings, Danny Steadings and Pat Washburn. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Floyds Boiling Springs Chapel (4161 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Fort Prince Memorial Gardens (125 Fort Prince Rd, Wellford, SC 29385).
