She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clifford and Viola Harrelson Barnette of Woodruff; her former husband Charles Alfred Davis of Fairforest, SC; and her brother Kenneth Hugh Barnette of Woodruff, SC.. She is survived by: her sister Cheryl Ann Brock of Woodruff, SC; her children, Steven Charles Davis (Meg) of Abbeville, SC and Kristen Elaine Davis Welch (Nelson); her grandchildren, Charles "Davis" Welch, Charles "Chas" Nelson Welch and Haley Kristen Welch of Spartanburg; her stepsons, Jeff Mann (Kathy), Ray Mann (Chris) of Spartanburg, SC and Vince Mann (Janice) of Southern Pines; and her stepgrandchildren, Neil Mann, Victoria Cato, Alastair, Elon, Grayson Mann, Blake Mann of Spartanburg, S. C., Henry, Michael and Grace Cato of Spartanburg, SC.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg (250 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
