He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael Thorne and Marilyn Thorne. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Todd Thorne (Mitzi), Jeremy Thorne (Anna) and Amy Parkin (Scott); his grandchildren, Chase Thorne (Aubrey), Tanner Thorne, Maddox Parkin, Britian Parkin and Tori Parkin; and his nephew Brian Tate.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Floyds Boiling Springs Chapel (4161 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park (4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316).
