It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Heatherly of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vance Heatherly and Norma Lucille Keeter Heatherly; his niece Rita Denise Tone; his brother-in-law A. Robert Tone; and his sister Mary Sprouse.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Harrington; his sister-in-law Mary Jo Harrington Tone; his niece Rebecca Rae Tone; his goddaughter Kelly Orner Toney; his niece Rachel Bryant (Jason); his nephews, Jeffrey and Jimmy Sprouse; and his pets, Harry, Solomon and Ruby.
