She was predeceased by: her husband Roosevelt Byrd; her parents, Perry Hearst, Sr. and Naomi Irene Clark Hearst; and her siblings, David Hearst, Sr., Perry Hearst, Jr. and Patricia Pearson.
She is survived by: her son Matthew Casey Teamer; her stepson Reverend Aaron Elmore; her sisters, Geraldine Wynn (Paul Foster) of Spartanburg, SC, Terry Doggett (Tony Rogers) of Spartanburg, SC and Tina Chappell (Garland) of Spartanburg, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Byrd and Porsha Hearst.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Community Mortuary (102 Marion Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
