With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll Marshall Posey (Spartanburg, South Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Posey Jr.; her parents, Ray Marshall and Christine Carroll Marshall; and her sister Ellen Lynn McClure. She is survived by: her daughters, Christy Fins (Jonny) and Amanda Holgate; her grandchildren, Ashley Rickard (Adam), Joshua Fins (Madison) and Caleb Fins; her great grandchildren, Amelia Blakely Fins, Sullivan Wesley Fins and Charles Bennett Rickard; and her cousin Sarah Marler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel (2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens- Spartanburg (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
