Carolyn Hazel Marler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Hazel Marler in Spartanburg, South Carolina, born in Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas W. Nations (Wilk) and Annie Lee Nations; her siblings, Mildred Marler, Gail Rice and Thomas Nations (Tommy); her son James R. Marler, Jr. (Robby); and her grandson Dylan Marler.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Pollard; her daughters, Angela Brubeck (Bob), Tracy Rackley (Tim) and Shannon Elias (Robbie); her daughter-in-law Lyn Marler; her grandchildren, Brittany Boyd (Joshua), Christopher French, Courtney French, Max Elias and Mason Elias; her great grandchildren, James, Carter, Jaxton, Blakely and Jade; and her brother-in-law Ray Marler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
Her compassion for these animals reflected her generous spirit, and in her memory, the family requests that donations be made to local Humane Societies in lieu of flowers.
