He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lloyd Stegall, Jr. and Willie Mae Gordon Stegall; his son Michael Perry Stegall; and his siblings, Luther Lloyd Stegall, Jr., Eleanor Covington Miller, William Boyd Stegall, James Norris Stegall, Bobby Stegall and Gordon Lee Stegall.
He is survived by: his children, Carlton Holt "James" Stegall, Jr. (Wanda) of Campobello and Carlene Joyce Farley (Todd) of Fort Mill; his grandchildren, Carlton H. "Trey" Stegall III, Travis Cooper, Sam Farley and Emily Farley; his great grandchild Savannah Cooper; his great great grandchild Colton Palmer; and his pets, Patty and Tyson.
